Phil

I saw Amie for the first time when I was in the fourth grade. She was the milk monitor, and I loved waiting in line so I could enjoy seeing her pretty face.

Then, at age fourteen I went to a youth meeting at a church that was new to me, and I went for only one reason - there was a slight possibility I might see that pretty face again.

My dream came true when I opened the door; she was there playing the piano. The song was “Make Me A Blessing”, and Amie has been my greatest blessing ever since.

The greatest day of my life was when my Queen Amie and I walked down the aisle of the church as husband and wife.  God couldn't have blessed me more.  I am the happiest man on this earth!

Amie

I remember when Phil was brought to visit the youth group at my church by his cousin David.  As soon as we were introduced, I quickly invited him back to our Halloween party to make sure this cute guy came back.  He did, and not long after we were “going steady.”  (Thanks David!!)

We both attended Pacific Bible College, and it was during this time that I realized without a doubt that Phil was the one God had for me.  So when he asked me to marry him, it was a resounding, "Yes!"  So here we are 50 years later, and I guess it's true... time really flies when you're having fun!

I am so grateful to God for a loving husband who has filled my life with so much joy!
